After Michael Howard, a former Leader of the Conservative Party, came close to declaring war with Spain, with no condemnation from the Government, Clare Moody, the Labour MEP for the South West and Gibraltar, was right when she said on Radio 4: "If the Government has overlooked the interests of Gibraltar, which is a crucial part of the kind of constitutional arrangements of our membership of the European Union, then what else are they going to overlook as well?"

The interests of Gibraltar, along with those of the devolved administrations and the Core Cities, like Bristol, need to be part of the negotiation process and the Government needs to start talking to them now.

Clare, along with Bristol West MP Thangam Debbonaire, recently wrote an interesting piece on what the Brexit deal should look like.
