Steve Micklewright is the Chair of Snuff Mills Action Group

The group have campaigned hard and used people power to protect and improve the natural beauty spots that are Grove Wood and Snuff Mills. Through the
blog and the determination of the campaigners they have:
- secured the declaration of Grove Wood as a Local Nature Reserve
- won nearly £50,000 in Lottery Funding to restore Snuff Mills and improve disabled access
- got Bristol City Council to agree to replace the old toilets
They have also brought people together for various different events and worked as a community for the good of the community - a real inspiration for other groups out there.
